Norwegian Space Cluster Concludes 2024 with Key Member Meeting in Oslo

Oslo, Norway – December 2024 – The Norwegian Space Cluster held its final members' meeting of the year at the prestigious Thommessen Law Firm in Oslo. The event brought together key stakeholders, industry representatives, and experts to discuss upcoming initiatives, European collaboration opportunities, and future developments in the space sector.

The meeting opened with registration, networking, and coffee at 10:00 AM, setting the stage for a day of insightful discussions and strategic planning.

  • 10:30-11:30 | Welcome and 2025 Cluster Activities
    Nicolai Julsvoll and Elias Kjelløkken from Thommessen, alongside the Norwegian Space Cluster administration, presented the 2025 roadmap, detailing upcoming projects and team strategies.

  • 11:30-12:00 | Upcoming EU Calls and Tenders
    Hugo Moen from the Norwegian Space Agency provided insights into new funding opportunities and tender processes within the EU, emphasizing growth avenues for Norwegian space enterprises.

  • 12:00-13:00 | Lunch Break
    Attendees had the chance to network and discuss industry trends over lunch.

  • 13:00-13:30 | Estonian Space Ecosystem and Startups
    Sven Lilla, ESA BIC Manager in Estonia, shared an overview of Estonia’s growing space industry and startup scene, highlighting potential partnerships.

  • 13:30-14:00 | Collaboration with the German Ecosystem
    Mina Kolstad from the German-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce explored new avenues for cooperation between Norway and Germany in the space sector.
