The GEMINI-center for Small Satellites (with NTNU, SINTEF and UiO) together with the Norwegian Space Cluster invite to the 2025 Norwegian Microsatellite Seminar at Sjølystparket at Skøyen, 10th of February 2025, from 0900.

This will be the 7th edition of the small satellite forum, since the start ten years ago in 2015. The forum started targeting the growing interest of maritime surveilance and will for the first time be hosted togheterh with the Norwegian Space Cluster.

This year, we focus common opertunities for research between industry and academia with sessions on

1. Current and Future Space Missions and Projects:

   - Updates from the Norwegian microsatellite community. 

   - Research trends in earth observation, environmental monitoring, security, and exploration. 

2. Enabling Technology:

   - Industrial R&D projects supporting Norway’s space activities. 

   - Industry needs for research and competence-building for future demands. 

   - Collaboration opportunities with research partners. 

3. Space Project Funding and Collaboration:

   - Industry-academia collaborations: what works and what doesn’t? 

   - Perspectives from both large and small companies. 

   - Fit of EU, Research Council, and ESA funding programs with your organization.
